What It's All About

Tae Kwon Do is a martial art that teaches self-confidence, focus, and self-discipline in a safe active environment. This TKD class is taught with a no contact style. This means that students are taught in a safe way, while learning precision and self-defense. Class is taught by Randy Seals, a 4th degree black belt with 13 years of teaching experience. Classes will be held both inside and outside at the instructors discretion.

World Martial Arts Association - We pride ourselves on helping each student reach their goals. The program consists of training that includes both physical conditioning and character development. The classes are structured and demanding, with an emphasis on concentration and precision. Families report that their children develop confidence along with their karate skills. The atmosphere helps to motivate students of all ages to perform better in other endeavors, including schoolwork and vocational pursuits. The Greensboro Club – Le Dragon Squad is affiliated with the World Martial Arts Association, and this membership provides access to promotion tests, national tournaments, and training excursions to upstate New York if desired.

About Me

My photo
Randy Seals
My perspective, as a person trained in several disciplines of therapy and coaching, is as follows: I believe that my role in working with people is that of a "guide" for a person to find and be able to walk their own path. My vision and experience with this belief is comparable to someone who hires a guide to help them do something that they have never done before (but always felt an attraction to) or tried to do and felt that they could not do it on their own. The guide must have had personal experience on this kind of path to be a guide. Ultimately, the goal for the guide is to reconnect the person to her or his own inner guide. The types of therapy/coaching I have trained in include: Self-Relations Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Reconnecting with Nature Coaching (Applied Ecopsychology), Generative Trance (Steve Gilligan), Buddhism, Insight Dialog Therapy, and solution focused therapy. I received a Masters of Social Work in 2006 and have worked in the field of therapy and/or coaching since then. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked with a full range of symptoms (depression, anxiety, and so on).
